Make sure the fogger's internal cavity is completely dry before fitting the new diaphragm — trapped moisture is a common cause of a fogger that still won't mist after the part's replaced. Check the diaphragm's orientation, black ring side down, before closing the unit back up.

If the unit powers on but produces little or no fog even after cleaning the ultrasonic disc with distilled water, the diaphragm is the usual culprit and is worth replacing before buying a new unit.

No — it's matched to the Exo Terra Fogger (PT2080) specifically, not the Monsoon Solo, Multi or Nano misting systems, which use different nozzles and pumps rather than an ultrasonic diaphragm.
