Fluval 106 Impeller Cover
Stops a cracked or worn cover from letting the impeller sit loose and leak.
This is the genuine Fluval impeller cover, part A20114, made specifically for the Fluval 106 canister filter (model A202). It clips over the impeller housing in the motor head and keeps the impeller assembly seated and sealed against the pump chamber. If the original cover has cracked, gone brittle, or lost its seal, water can weep from the motor head and the impeller can sit loose enough to rattle or bind on start-up.

Care and maintenance
Rinse the cover in aquarium water or dechlorinated tap water during routine filter servicing, and check it seats flush over the impeller housing each time the motor head is reassembled. Replace it as soon as you notice cracking, a poor seal, or water weeping from the motor head, rather than waiting for it to fail outright.

No. The 206 uses its own impeller cover, part A20134. This listing is for the 106 only.
How do I know if my impeller cover needs replacing?
Look for cracking or a chip in the plastic, water weeping from around the motor head, or a rattling/grinding noise from the impeller when the filter starts up.
Does this include the impeller itself?
No. This is the cover only. If the impeller blades or magnet are worn as well, you'll need the separate impeller, shaft and rubber bushing set.
Is this a genuine Fluval part?
Yes. It's the genuine Fluval part A20114, not a generic or aftermarket equivalent.
Can I fit this without tools?
Yes. It clips into the motor head by hand once the impeller assembly is in place.
