Three brush widths reach the spots one brush always misses.
This is the genuine Fluval 3-in-1 cleaning brush set – a 1.3 cm, a 2.5 cm and a 5 cm brush in one pack. Between them they cover airline tubing, impeller wells, intake stems, spray bars and hose up to 2.5 cm inside diameter, so routine servicing on a canister, internal or hang-on filter doesn't mean owning three separate brushes.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for servicing Fluval canister filters, internal and hang-on filters using standard hose and airline sizes, and general cleaning of decor and rock. Not suitable for hose over 2.5 cm (1") inside diameter – FX-series hose runs wider than that and needs a larger brush.
Care and maintenance
Rinse each brush in tank or dechlorinated water after use. Avoid dish soap or detergent – residue in the bristles carries back into the tank on the next clean. Air dry between uses.

Common questions
Will the large brush clean FX-series filter hose?
No. FX-series hose runs wider than 2.5 cm, so it needs a bigger brush than this set supplies.
Can I use the small brush on standard airline tubing?
Yes. It's sized for the standard 4.8 mm airline tubing used across most Fluval air-driven equipment.
Do these suit internal filters as well as canisters?
Yes. The small and medium brushes suit internal filter intake strainers and impeller wells, not just canister parts.
How do I clean the brushes between uses?
Rinse in tank or dechlorinated water and air dry. Skip soap and detergent, which leave a residue that ends up back in the tank.
