Fluval 307/407 Replace Intake/Output Kit
One kit covers every hose-side seal on a 307 or 407.
This is the genuine Fluval intake/output kit, part A20052, built for the 307 and 407 canister filters (Fluval model codes A446 and A449). It replaces the parts that age fastest on a canister filter – the Aquastop shut-off valve, intake strainer, hose connector, output nozzle, motor head gasket, rim connectors and suction cups – in one order instead of four or five separate ones.
Key features
- Genuine Fluval A20052 – moulded and threaded to the 307/407 Aquastop valve and hose-connector sizes, so nothing needs forcing or re-sealing with tape.
- Aquastop valve included – the shut-off that lets the canister be disconnected for servicing without draining the whole loop. It is usually the first part to stiffen or weep.
- Full hose-end coverage – strainer, connector, nozzle and motor head gasket together, so a rebuild does not stall on a part ordered separately.
- Fresh suction cups and rim connectors – the small parts that crack from UV and cabinet heat long before the canister body wears out.
- One kit, two models – 307 and 407 share hose-side hardware, so spares carry over between them.

Not included
The flexible hose itself is a separate part. This kit covers the rigid fittings and valve at each end of the hose run – if the hose has gone stiff, kinked or discoloured as well, check it alongside this kit rather than assuming a new kit fixes a hose problem.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for a 307 or 407 with a weeping or stiff Aquastop valve, a cracked strainer or nozzle, or suction cups that no longer hold to the glass. Suitable as a full precautionary rebuild on a second-hand unit of unknown service history.
Not suitable for the 106/206, 306/406, 107 or 207 – those canisters use different intake/output hardware.
Care and maintenance
Suction cups lose their grip years before the plastic fails outright – replace them as a set rather than one at a time so clamping pressure stays even. The Aquastop valve is the part most likely to seize if the filter is left dry for an extended period; work it through a full open-close cycle at each service so it does not stick shut when it is actually needed.

Common questions
Does this kit include the flexible hose?
No. It covers the intake strainer, output nozzle, Aquastop valve, motor head gasket, rim connectors and suction cups. The hose itself is a separate part.
Will this fit a Fluval 306 or 406?
No. The 06 series canisters use different intake/output hardware to the 07 series. This kit is specific to the 307 and 407.
My Aquastop valve is stiff but not leaking – do I need the whole kit?
If only the valve needs attention, replacing the whole kit is still the practical option, since Fluval does not sell the Aquastop valve as a standalone part for this model.
Do I need tools to fit this kit?
No. Every part in this kit is a hand-tightened or push-fit connection.
