Fluval Pro Air Pump Twin Outlet A402

• Two outlets, two dials, so each airline is set on its own.
• Noise-dampening baffle chamber and double-wall body, rated under 34 dB (decibels).
• Oversized rubber feet that reduce vibration, plus a rubber hang tag for mounting on the side of the aquarium stand.
• Long-lasting EPDM rubber diaphragms (the flexing part that pumps the air).

• Aquarium size: up to 600 litres
• Air output: 330 to 370 litres per hour
• Outlets: 2; airline hose 4.78 mm (3/16 inch), as Fluval lists it
• Power: 4 W on 230 to 240 V mains
• Noise: under 34 dB; Fluval item A854

Suitable for large aquariums up to 600 litres and small multi-tank setups. More pump than a nano needs; the A101 or A202 suit those. Fit check valves (one-way valves in the airline) so water cannot siphon back into the pump if the power drops.

Mount the pump above the waterline or use check valves, and run it from an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet.
