Suitable for freshwater and saltwater tanks on the kits above. It is the biological stage only; pair it with the foam block and carbon inserts, sold separately.
Care
Fluval's advice is to rinse it monthly in aquarium water and replace it every three months. Use tank water rather than tap water for rinsing.
