Fluval Suspension Kit for Plant 4.0 & Marine 4.0 Bluetooth LED
Suspend your Fluval Plant 4.0 or Marine 4.0 LED clear of the rim, with no clamp touching the glass. This ceiling-mount kit (Fluval part A20482) replaces the fixture's leg mounts with two adjustable suspension cables, letting you position the light independently of tank width or rim style.

Will it fit my light?
This kit is made for the Fluval Plant 4.0 and Marine 4.0 Bluetooth LED ranges specifically — it is not a universal suspension kit. It fits:
- Fluval Plant 4.0 LED, 22 W, 32 W, 46 W and 59 W
- Fluval Marine 4.0 LED (Fluval's own catalogue lists this line as "Reef 4.0"), 22 W, 32 W, 46 W and 59 W
It is not made for the Plant PRO 4.0 range — that fixture uses a different suspension kit (see our separate PRO Plant 4.0 suspension kit listing) with different fixing hardware for its heavier, longer bars.

The LED fixture itself is sold separately. This kit replaces the fixture's standard leg mounts — keep the legs if you may want to swap back to rim mounting later.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for hanging a Plant 4.0 or Marine 4.0 LED above an open-top or rimless tank, or where the rim shape won't take the standard leg clamps. Not suitable for the Plant PRO 4.0 range, and not a structural fitting for anything heavier than the Fluval 4.0 fixture it's designed for.

Does this fit the Plant PRO 4.0 or Marine PRO?
No. The PRO range uses a different suspension kit with its own fixing hardware — see our separate listing for that model.
Can I still rim-mount the fixture later?
Yes, provided you keep the original leg mounts that came with the fixture — this kit doesn't modify the light unit itself, it replaces the mounting hardware.
Does it come with the LED light?
No, this is the suspension hardware only. The Plant 4.0 or Marine 4.0 LED fixture is sold separately.
