Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for the Fluval U1 internal filter, which Fluval rates for freshwater, saltwater and reptile setups. Not for the U3 or U4, which take their own impellers. Fluval's current parts list also shows a combined U1/U2 impeller (part A15232).
Care
Unplug the filter before taking it apart. Fluval's instructions are to rinse the impeller and its attached magnet in clean water, never with detergent or soap, and to clean the impeller well (the recess the impeller sits in) with a small brush or cotton bud.
Warranty and delivery
Fluval's filter warranty excludes the impeller, which it treats as a part that wears out with use; your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply. Ships by standard parcel post.
