Suspends your Hydra Edge 44HD or 68HD cleanly above the tank, on adjustable cables rather than a rigid arm. A ceiling or canopy-mounted alternative to an HMS arm, for tanks where an open top and a clutter-free view above the water matter more than a fully articulated arm.

Suitable for open-top tanks and canopies where a ceiling or overhead structure is available to hang from.
Not suitable where there's nothing solid above the tank to mount to, and not an HMS arm replacement if you need the fixture to reach out over a rimmed or covered tank.

Does this fit the standard Hydra 32HD or 64HD?
No – this kit is sized for the Edge line, the Hydra Edge 44HD and 68HD. The original Hydra range uses a different hanging kit.
Is the light fixture included?
No, the light is sold separately. This kit is hanging hardware only.
Can I use this instead of an HMS arm?
Yes, if you have a solid ceiling or canopy above the tank to hang from – it's an alternative to an arm-based mount, not an accessory for one.
