• Calibrate mode sets maximum, minimum and neutral flow levels to suit your overflow, and keeps the pump idling rather than stopping to help prevent back-siphoning (water running back down the return line).

Suitable as the return pump for reef systems up to about 340 litres. Aqua Illumination also lists running a UV steriliser or a reactor as uses for the Axis. Flow drops as the lift increases and stops at about 3 m, so measure the height from the pump to your return outlet, and allow for a long plumbing run, before choosing.

Keep the power supply on an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet clear of splash, and never run the pump dry.
