The Marina Suction Glass Floating Thermometer is a liquid-filled glass thermometer for freshwater and marine tanks, supplied with a suction cup so it can be mounted against the glass at eye level, or left to float freely if you prefer.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Fixed-position temperature checks where you don't want the thermometer drifting on the surface.
- Not a replacement for a digital probe thermometer if you need a continuous or logged reading.
Care and maintenance
Press the suction cup onto clean glass for the best hold, and re-wet it if it stops gripping. Wipe algae off the tube occasionally so it stays easy to read.

- An algae scraper or pad, to keep the glass around the mount clean.
- A digital or LCD thermometer, if you'd like a second, continuously-displayed reading alongside this one.

Can I still let it float instead of using the suction cup?
Yes – the suction cup is optional. Left unattached, the thermometer floats upright the same way Marina's other glass thermometers do.
