Quartz Sleeve
A replacement quartz sleeve for 25 watt and 57 watt Aqua Ultraviolet sterilisers. The quartz sleeve is the clear tube that keeps the UV lamp dry while the water flows around it. Aqua Ultraviolet lists these as its Classic quartz sleeves: part A10025 for 25 watt units and part A10057 for 57 watt units, both 19 inches (about 48.3 cm) long. Choose the variant that matches your unit's lamp wattage.
Key features
- Genuine Aqua Ultraviolet sleeves, parts A10025 and A10057.
- Two variants: 25 watt and 57 watt.
- Sits between the lamp and the water, so the lamp stays dry inside the steriliser.
Specifications
- 25 watt variant: part A10025, 19 inches (about 48.3 cm)
- 57 watt variant: part A10057, 19 inches (about 48.3 cm)
- Material: quartz
- Rubber seal: listed by Aqua Ultraviolet as a separate part (A40004)
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for Aqua Ultraviolet 25 watt and 57 watt Classic series units; Aqua Ultraviolet covers the Classic and Twist series in one instruction manual. Not suitable for the other Classic wattages, which Aqua Ultraviolet lists with different sleeve lengths: 8 and 15 watt (15 inches), 40 watt (36 inches) and 65 watt (64 inches). The Advantage, stainless steel, ozone and Viper ranges use their own sleeves.
Care
Aqua Ultraviolet's manual says to turn off the pump and unplug the unit before any maintenance, clean the sleeve with a limescale remover such as Lime Away or CLR, and never use anything abrasive. Slide the lamp in and out straight: the manual warns that fitting the lamp at even a slight angle can crack the end of the sleeve.
Warranty and delivery
Aqua Ultraviolet's published warranty does not cover quartz sleeve breakage. Any help we give with a faulty sleeve is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships by standard parcel post.
