Red Sea Power Supply (ReefRun9000)
Genuine Red Sea power supply built for the ReefRun 9000 DC pump. The ReefRun 9000 is Red Sea's largest controllable DC return pump, drawing between 30 W and 95 W depending on the speed setting — this is the matched supply that delivers it. If a ReefRun 9000 won't power on, or only runs at a fraction of its rated flow, a tired supply is the most common cause and the cheapest thing to rule out.
Key features
- Genuine Red Sea part — matched to the ReefRun 9000's electronics, not a generic universal adapter.
- Rated for the full power band — supports the pump across its entire 30–95 W controllable range.
- Australian mains input — 230 V / 50 Hz, ready to plug in with no converter.
- Drop-in replacement — same connector and cable length as the original supply.
Will it fit my pump?
This supply is specific to the ReefRun 9000. Red Sea's ReefRun 5500 and 7000 pumps each use their own dedicated supply rated to a lower power band, and this unit is not rated to drive them. Check the model printed on your pump housing before ordering.

Common questions
Will this power a ReefRun 5500 or 7000?
No. Each ReefRun model uses its own supply matched to its power band — fitting the 9000's supply to a smaller pump, or vice versa, is not something Red Sea specifies as safe.
My pump won't start — is this definitely the fault?
It's the first thing worth ruling out. If the pump's display or dial doesn't light up at all with a known-good supply plugged in, the fault is more likely in the pump's control board.
Does this come with a warranty?
Yes — the standard Red Sea manufacturer warranty applies, on top of your Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
