Red Sea ReefDose Head Tube + Hose Barbs

The wear part that keeps dosing accurate over time. This genuine Red Sea head tube with hose barbs is the peristaltic tube inside a ReefDose dosing head – the flexible section the rollers squeeze to move liquid, and the part that wears fastest.

Key features
  • Genuine Red Sea factory part with matching hose barbs
  • Direct-fit peristaltic replacement for one dosing head
  • Restores accurate, factory-calibrated dose volume
Will this fit my ReefDose?

Yes. The head tube is the same across the ReefDose 2 and ReefDose 4 – one tube per dosing head.

Fits ReefDose 2, ReefDose 4 (one tube per dosing head)
Manufacturer part number R35344
Sold as Single unit
Fitting No tools required – unclips from the head
Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable when a channel is under-dosing, dosing unevenly, or the tube shows visible flattening or cracking where the rollers run. Not the fix for a head that won't turn at all – that's the gear motor.

Care and maintenance

Peristaltic tubing is a consumable. Red Sea recommends replacing it roughly once a year, more often on additives that are thick or crystallising, and recalibrating the head afterwards.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Red Sea's standard spare parts warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Standard parcel delivery.

Common questions

How often should I replace the head tube?

Roughly once a year under normal use. Thicker or crystallising additives, like some calcium or alkalinity supplements, wear the tube faster.

Do I need to recalibrate after fitting a new tube?

Yes – check delivered volume with the ReefDose Measuring Cylinder before trusting the schedule again.

My channel is under-dosing – is this the fix?

Usually, yes. A worn head tube is the most common cause of gradual under-dosing. If the head won't turn at all, replace the gear motor instead.
