All three current REEFER G2+ sizes share the same rimless build and the same inclusion list – only the footprint, volume and glass thickness change. The 300 is the one genuinely different shape of the three: 90 cm long against 60 cm for the 170 and 200, so measure your wall space before ordering rather than judging by volume alone.

• Suitable for: reef and marine keepers wanting a longer display for aquascaping and fish swimming room, who are sourcing their own return pump, skimmer and lighting.
• Suitable for: anyone upgrading from a rimmed tank who wants rimless sightlines without paying for equipment they already own.
• Not suitable for: buyers who want a single box that includes a skimmer, return pump and lighting at purchase – that's the Reefer MAX range, not this one.
• Not suitable for: rooms without a level, load-rated 90 cm run of floor and wall space – measure before you order, this is the widest of the three current sizes.

Red Sea backs the REEFER range with a manufacturer's warranty, provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law – ask our team for the current term on this model before you buy. This is a large, heavy glass item delivered on a pallet; the cabinet arrives flat-packed and needs assembly. A filled 300 holds up to 300 kg of water alone, before the glass, cabinet, sump and substrate are counted – check the floor rating with a builder before installing on an upper level or non-slab floor.

Does the REEFER 300 G2+ include a protein skimmer?

No. It ships with the tank, sump and cabinet only. A protein skimmer, return pump and lighting are all sold separately, so you can choose them to suit your stocking plan and budget.

How much floor space does the 300 need?

Allow for the 90 × 57.5 cm cabinet footprint plus clearance to open the cabinet doors and reach the sump – measure your wall run at 90 cm minimum before ordering.

What's the difference between the included float valve and ReefATO+?

The float valve that ships with the system is a passive mechanical device – it opens and closes to keep the sump topped up from the built-in reservoir. Red Sea's ReefATO+ is a separate electronic controller with a temperature sensor and leak detection; it is not included as standard, but can be added with the Reefer ATO Upgrade Kit.

Is the cabinet pre-assembled?

No. The cabinet is flat-packed and needs to be assembled before the tank goes on top of it.

Will one return pump be enough for a 90 cm tank?

That depends on the flow you want across the full length of the display, and on how much head height your plumbing run adds. Check the pump's rated flow at your actual lift height, not just its headline number, before you commit to one.
