Red Sea ReefView Glasses 6 Units

Red Sea ReefView Glasses let you see your corals' true colours under blue-heavy reef lighting. Modern LED reef lights are rich in blue and violet wavelengths, which makes coral colouration and fluorescence hard to judge with the naked eye. ReefView Glasses filter out that blue cast, similar to how a photographer's lens filter works, so the colours you see sit closer to how the coral actually looks. This pack contains 6 units, suited to a shop counter, frag swap table, or reef club open night where more than one person wants a look.

Key features
  • Filters blue-dominant reef lighting to reveal coral colouration and fluorescence more accurately
  • Makes colour changes in corals easier to spot for routine health checks than under raw blue light
  • Handy for previewing how a coral will look before deciding whether a camera lens filter is worth using
  • Pack of 6 – enough for a display stand, shop counter, or group viewing session

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suited to marine and reef aquariums running blue-spectrum LED lighting, where they help reveal coral colour and fluorescence normally washed out by the blue cast. They're not safety eyewear, and for camera work a dedicated lens filter is still the more accurate option.

Goes well with

Pairs naturally with Red Sea ReefLED lighting and other blue-heavy reef LED fixtures, where the blue cast they filter out is strongest.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty against faults, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Get in touch if anything arrives faulty and we'll sort it out.

Common questions

Do these change how the coral actually looks, or just how it looks through the glasses?

Only how it looks through the glasses. They filter light on its way to your eyes and have no effect on the coral or the tank itself.

Will they work with any reef light, or only Red Sea lighting?

Any blue-heavy reef LED lighting, not just Red Sea fixtures. The effect is strongest under lights with a high proportion of blue and violet output.

Why is the pack 6 units instead of a single pair?

Six units suit retail display, reef clubs, or shops that want multiple pairs on hand for customers or visitors to try at once.

Are these only useful on saltwater tanks?

Yes. They're built around the blue-heavy lighting used on marine and reef aquariums and won't offer any benefit under standard freshwater lighting.
