Seachem Sure Start Pack
Everything a new tank needs in its first weeks – one box, three bottles. The Seachem SureStart Pack bundles 100 mL bottles of Prime, Stability and Pristine: the conditioner, the cycling bacteria and the clean-up crew. It's a straightforward way to start a freshwater or marine aquarium right, and a natural add-on with any new tank or filter.
What's in the pack
- Prime (100 mL) – water conditioner. Removes chlorine and chloramine from tap water and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite and nitrate while the biofilter matures. Dose 5 mL per 200 L with every water change.
- Stability (100 mL) – biofilter starter. A blend of aerobic, anaerobic and facultative bacteria that establishes the biofilter and helps prevent new tank syndrome. Dose 5 mL per 40 L on day one, then 5 mL per 80 L daily for 7 days.
- Pristine (100 mL) – bio-augmentation bacteria that break down uneaten food, waste, sludge and detritus, keeping a new tank clean and clear as it matures. Dose 5 mL per 40 L initially, then 5 mL per 80 L when adding fish or after cleaning or medicating.
What's included / what you'll still need
The pack includes the three 100 mL bottles above, each with its own dosing cap. It does not include a test kit, a bucket or jug for water changes, or a dosing syringe – a standard aquarium test kit is worth adding separately to confirm the tank has finished cycling.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for setting up a new freshwater or marine aquarium, and for supporting an established tank through a water change, a new fish introduction, or a course of medication. Not a substitute for patience – Stability speeds up cycling but a new tank should still be monitored with a test kit before stocking heavily.

Common questions
Do I need to buy anything else to cycle a new tank?
A liquid test kit is the main extra worth adding, so you can see when ammonia and nitrite have dropped to zero before stocking.
Can I use the pack in an established, already-cycled tank?
Yes. Prime is used with every water change regardless of tank age, and Stability and Pristine are useful whenever the biofilter is disrupted – new fish, filter cleaning, or medication.
Is the pack reef safe?
Yes, all three products are safe for freshwater and marine setups, including plants and invertebrates, when dosed as directed.
How long does 100 mL of Stability last during cycling?
On a 200 L tank, the day-one dose uses 25 mL and the following week of daily dosing uses roughly 87.5 mL – close to the full bottle for one cycling tank of that size.
