Genuine replacement UV lamps for Aqua Ultraviolet sterilisers, in five wattages. The lamp is the part that produces the ultraviolet light, and Aqua Ultraviolet says to replace it after 14 months of continuous use, because by then its UV output has dropped even if it still lights. Choose the variant that matches the lamp already in your unit. The 15, 25, 40 and 57 watt variants are Aqua Ultraviolet Classic lamps; the 8 watt variant is Aqua Ultraviolet's Advantage 2000 lamp.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
The 15, 25, 40 and 57 watt lamps suit Aqua Ultraviolet Classic series units of the same wattage; Aqua Ultraviolet covers the Classic and Twist series in one instruction manual. The 8 watt lamp suits the Advantage 2000. Not for the Classic 8 watt unit (which uses lamp A20008), the Advantage 2000+ (lamp A20010) or other brands' sterilisers.
Care
Turn off the pump and unplug the unit first. Aqua Ultraviolet's manual says to slide the lamp straight in and out and never force it or fit it at an angle, as even a slight angle can crack the quartz sleeve or break the lamp. Check and clean the quartz sleeve while the lamp is out.
Safety
Never look at or handle a lit UV lamp outside its housing; Aqua Ultraviolet warns it can cause severe sunburn and conjunctivitis (eye inflammation).
