Zoo Med Creatures Rock Dish

A naturalistic dish sized for the smallest habitat residents. The Zoo Med Creatures Rock Dish is a small, rock-look plastic dish for food or water, built into the Creatures line for spiders, isopods, roaches and other small invertebrates. Its shallow, angled sides make it easy for tiny animals to reach food or water without the drowning risk of a deep dish.

Key features
  • Natural rock-look finish – blends into naturalistic and bioactive invertebrate setups instead of standing out as plastic.
  • Shallow, angled sides – sized so small invertebrates can reach food or water safely.
  • Removable clear plastic liner – lift it out to rinse or swap contents without scrubbing the whole dish.
  • Dishwasher safe – the moulded rock body cleans easily between uses.
  • Holds one Creature Food Jelly Cup – sized to take a standard Zoo Med jelly cup for feeding.

Common questions

Can very small invertebrates drown in it?

The shallow, angled design is built to reduce that risk, but for very small species Zoo Med's own advice for similar dishes is to add a pebble or piece of sponge on the water side as extra insurance.

Does this dish glow in the dark?

Not this SKU – for a glow-in-the-dark version, see the Zoo Med Creatures Rock Dish Glow In The Dark listing.

What's the clear liner for?

It sits inside the rock body and lifts out for quick rinsing or swapping between food and water use, so you're not scrubbing the moulded dish itself every time.

Will it fit in a nano terrarium?

Yes – at roughly 7.6 cm (3 in) across, it's sized for Creatures-style nano enclosures and other small invertebrate setups.
