Exo Terra Corner Water Dish
A water bowl shaped to fit the one spot most bowls waste. The Exo Terra Corner Water Dish tucks into a terrarium corner instead of sitting in the middle of the floor, so you get a stable water source without giving up the open space your animal uses for basking, hiding and moving around. It's made from food-grade resin with a realistic pebble-rock exterior and a smooth, non-porous interior that resists bacterial build-up.
Key features
- Corner-fit shape – sits flush in a terrarium corner, freeing up the open floor space a straight-sided bowl would take.
- Food-grade resin construction – non-porous, coated interior that's easy to wipe clean and resists bacteria.
- Built-in safety steps – a stepped inner edge lets smaller animals climb in and out rather than risk drowning.
- Natural pebble-rock finish – blends into desert, tropical or bioactive terrarium styling.
- Stable base – resists tipping once filled.

Which size do I need?
Medium suits geckos, small skinks and juvenile dragons that need a shallow, easy-access dish. Large and X-Large hold more water for longer between refills and suit adult bearded dragons and similarly sized lizards – check the depth against your animal's leg length before choosing, since a dish that's too deep for a small animal to climb out of is a drowning risk even with the built-in steps.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to terrarium drinking water and shallow soaking for lizards, geckos and similar reptiles. Not sized as a full soaking bath for larger tortoises or aquatic turtles – those need a purpose-built soaking or swimming setup.
Care and maintenance
Empty, rinse and refill regularly – reptiles will often defecate in standing water, and the non-porous surface makes this quick to wipe out, but it still needs daily attention like any water dish.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law as a packaged terrarium accessory. Ships standard.
Goes well with
- A reptile-safe water conditioner if you're filling from tap water
- A hygrometer, since a corner dish this size also helps lift local humidity
- The next size up if you're planning for an animal that's still growing
Common questions
Will small animals drown in this dish?
The stepped inner edge is built to let smaller animals climb out rather than get stuck against a vertical wall, but always match the dish depth to the animal – very small hatchlings are still safer in a shallower dish.
What's the difference between the three sizes?
Capacity and footprint. Medium holds 100 ml, Large 300 ml and X-Large 800 ml, in dishes shaped to match – bigger holds more water between refills but takes more corner space.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes – the interior is a smooth, non-porous coated finish designed specifically to resist bacterial build-up and wipe clean.
Does it come with a lid or cover?
No, it's an open dish with no cover.
