Zoo Med Flexarium Kit Soft Tray fits PT2550 Vertical
The floor of a Flexarium wears out long before the mesh does. This is the replacement soft bottom tray for a Flexarium PT2550 enclosure set up in its Vertical orientation — the flexible base panel that holds substrate or water in the bottom 3–4 inches of the enclosure, and the part most likely to need replacing after repeated cleaning and substrate changes.
Key features
- Genuine fit replacement — matches the soft tray fitted to the PT2550 Flexarium in its Vertical configuration.
- Holds substrate or water — flexible tray retains loose substrate or a shallow water layer up to 3–4 inches deep.
- 36 x 36 x 12.5 cm footprint — sized to the PT2550 Vertical base.
- Flexible construction — designed to flex with the Flexarium's soft-sided mesh body rather than a rigid base.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable as a genuine fit replacement for a Flexarium PT2550 set up Vertical. Not a fit for the Tall Horizontal orientation of the same enclosure — that uses a different tray (see the Tall Horizontal version separately) — and not designed as a standalone container outside the Flexarium frame.
Care and maintenance
Rinse and wipe down at each substrate change. Replace once the tray splits, stiffens or no longer flexes and seals against the enclosure frame.
Goes well with
Pairs with fresh substrate at changeover and with the matching Flexarium mesh cover if that also needs replacing.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Standard shipping applies.
Common questions
Does this fit the Tall Horizontal Flexarium too?
No — this tray is shaped for the Vertical orientation. The Tall Horizontal orientation uses a different tray, listed separately.
How deep can I fill it with substrate or water?
Up to 3–4 inches (roughly 7.5–10 cm).
Is it rigid or flexible?
Flexible — it's designed to work with the Flexarium's soft-sided mesh construction rather than as a rigid base.
