The Aqua Medic Regulation Valve is an adjustable inline valve for aquarium tubing, rated for both air and water, so the same fitting works whether you're trimming an airline to a reactor or throttling a drip line. It's sold as a pack of two, in four sizes to match tubing from 4mm up to 22mm.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: fine flow adjustment on airline to skimmers, reactors and air stones, and on water lines such as drip acclimation or dosing top-off tubing.
- Not suitable for: use as a primary shut-off on pressurised plumbing — it's a flow-trimming valve, not a full isolation valve rated for high pressure.
Which size do I need?
Measure the outside or inside diameter of the tubing you're fitting it to and match it against the size range above — a valve that's too loose won't seal, and one that's too tight can crack the tubing as you push it on.

Can I use this on my CO2 line?
It's rated for general air and water flow rather than pressurised gas systems — for CO2, use a dedicated needle valve designed for that pressure range.
Does it fully shut off flow?
It's designed to trim and adjust flow rate rather than provide a hard seal — for a complete shut-off, pair it with a dedicated isolation valve.
Which size fits standard airline tubing?
Most standard 4mm aquarium airline fits the 4-6mm size — check your tubing's outside diameter if you're unsure.
