Common questions
Is it safe for shrimp?
Yes. It's non-toxic resin, and the openings are sized to give shrimp and fry a place to shelter.
Will fish get stuck inside it?
Bioscape doesn't publish internal clearance figures for this piece – as a general rule with any swim-through ornament, check the opening sizes against your largest tankmates before adding it.
Can I use it in a nano tank?
At 10 x 9 cm it's one of the smaller pieces in the Fantasy range, so it suits nano setups as well as standard community tanks.
Does it need rinsing before use?
Rinse it under tap water before adding it to the tank to clear any dust from packaging and transit.
