Bioscape Fantasy Princess Castle 12 x 8cm
A pocket-sized fairytale fortress for nano and small tanks. The Bioscape Fantasy Princess Castle 12 x 8 cm is a compact cast resin aquarium ornament with turrets and archway crevices, sized for nano and small community tanks where the larger 19 x 18 cm castle would overwhelm the aquascape. It's non-toxic and aquarium safe for freshwater and marine setups.
Key features
- Nano-friendly footprint – 12 x 8 cm fits comfortably in tanks from roughly 20 L up.
- Turret and archway detail – moulded battlements and open doorways for a storybook look.
- Shelter crevices – small openings give shy or juvenile fish somewhere to retreat.
- Non-toxic, aquarium-safe resin – cast for long-term submersion.
- No assembly or gluing – positions straight onto substrate.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to nano and small freshwater and marine community tanks. The openings are sized for small fish and fry – not intended as a hide for larger, territorial species that could get stuck trying to squeeze through. Not marketed by Bioscape for terrarium or paludarium use.
Goes well with
Sits well alongside the matching Fantasy Princess Carriage 14 x 10cm for a small themed display, or step up to the Fantasy Princess Castle 19 x 18cm if you later move to a larger tank. A fine, rounded gravel bed helps it sit level.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Bioscape's manufacturer warranty against defects, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel item.
Common questions
Will this castle fit a nano tank?
At 12 x 8 cm it suits most nano and small tanks from around 20 L, though it's worth checking against your tank's internal footprint before ordering.
Is it the same design as the larger castle, just smaller?
It shares the fairytale castle styling with the 19 x 18 cm version, but is a separate, smaller mould with less internal chamber space rather than a scaled-down copy.
Is it reef safe?
Bioscape lists it as aquarium safe for freshwater and marine use; a specific reef-safe certification isn't published.
Do I need to rinse it before adding it to the tank?
Yes – rinse under running water to clear dust from moulding and packaging first.
