Bioscape Giant Toothfish 25 x 14cm
A deep-sea statement piece for a large display tank. The Bioscape Giant Toothfish is a 25 x 14cm resin ornament styled as a deep-sea toothfish, built as a bold, large-format aquascape centrepiece rather than a background accent. Like the rest of the Bioscape ornament range, it's cast in a durable, aquarium-safe resin that's inert in both freshwater and saltwater.
Key features
- Large-format centrepiece — 25 x 14cm, sized to stand out rather than blend into a planted or reef-style layout.
- Detailed resin sculpt — textured, lifelike finish styled on a deep-sea toothfish.
- Durable, aquarium-safe resin — made for permanent submersion.
- Freshwater and saltwater safe — inert material doesn't affect water chemistry in either setup.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: larger freshwater and marine display tanks wanting a bold, oversized ornament as the visual focal point.
- Not suitable for: small or nano tanks, where a 25cm piece will dominate the layout, or tanks with large, boisterous fish that could dislodge or chip a resin ornament.
Care and maintenance
Rinse under tap water before adding it to the tank. Wipe off algae film during routine maintenance with a soft brush or cloth. Safe to leave in the aquarium indefinitely, and can be lifted out and rinsed for reuse if you reaquascape.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects on arrival, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel item with the rest of your order.
Common questions
Is it safe for a saltwater tank?
Yes — the resin is inert and doesn't leach into freshwater or saltwater.
Will it change my water chemistry?
No. It's non-reactive and won't affect pH or hardness.
What size tank does it suit?
Its 25 x 14cm footprint reads best in a larger display tank rather than a nano or small community setup.
Do I need to rinse it before use?
A light rinse under tap water is enough to clear dust from packaging and shipping.
