Bioscape Green Egyptian Urn 20 x 11.5cm
A cracked urn with more than one way in for fish to explore. The Bioscape Green Egyptian Urn is a 20 x 11.5cm aquarium ornament cast in Bioscape's aquarium-safe resin, finished in a weathered green patina with hieroglyph-style detailing down the body. Unlike a single-entrance pot, this urn has multiple broken openings along its side, so fish can move through it rather than only hide inside one mouth.
Key features
- Multiple openings — several broken sections along the body give fish more than one way in and out.
- Hieroglyph detailing — moulded surface pattern adds visual interest beyond a plain urn shape.
- Weathered green patina — finished to look aged rather than freshly cast.
- Aquarium-safe resin — non-toxic and inert in freshwater or saltwater.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: community freshwater tanks, marine displays, and shy or small-bodied fish that benefit from more than one escape route through a piece of decor.
- Not suitable for: tanks with large, boisterous fish that could crack the thinner broken edges of the urn openings over time.
Care and maintenance
Rinse under tap water before adding it to the tank. Clean algae growth with a soft brush, working carefully around the broken-edge openings rather than scrubbing hard against them. Safe to leave in the aquarium indefinitely.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects on arrival, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel item — no special freight handling required.
Common questions
How many openings does the urn have?
The body has several broken sections rather than a single mouth, giving fish more than one entry and exit point.
Is it safe for a reef tank?
Yes, the resin is inert and won't affect saltwater chemistry.
Will it change my water's pH or hardness?
No. It's non-reactive in both freshwater and saltwater.
Do I need to rinse it before use?
A light rinse under tap water clears any dust from packaging and shipping.
