Is it safe for a saltwater or reef tank?

Yes. The resin is inert and made for aquarium use, so it's safe in both freshwater and saltwater setups.

Will it affect my water chemistry?

No. It's non-reactive and won't shift pH or hardness.

Does it need to be buried in the substrate?

No burying is required — it's designed to sit on top of gravel or sand, with the figure appearing to emerge from it.

Will fish hide inside it?

It doesn't form an enclosed cave the way some ornaments do, so treat it as a visual feature and shelter, not a dedicated breeding cave.
