Suitable for garden ponds with green water from algae floating in the water, used with a pump and a pond filter. It needs a filter to trap the dead algae, so it will not clear a pond on its own. It is made for single-celled algae in the water, so do not rely on it for algae growing on rocks, liner or plants.

UV-C light can burn the eyes and skin. Never switch the lamp on outside its housing or look at a lit lamp, and unplug the unit before opening or cleaning it. Run it from an RCD (safety switch) protected outdoor outlet and keep all power connections dry.
