Eco Tech Terrarium
A clear-view glass terrarium sized to suit small reptiles, amphibians and inverts. The Eco Tech Terrarium is a glass enclosure available in six sizes, from a compact 20 x 20 x 10 cm up to a roomy 50 x 30 x 35 cm. Across the range, Eco Tech's own spec sheet lists a mesh ventilated lid that supports UVB and heat lamp fittings, sliding glass access and an elevated base for under-tank heating on the larger models – configuration can vary by size, so check the product photos for your chosen size before ordering.
Key features
- Clear glass on all sides – full-view enclosure with even light penetration
- Six sizes – from desk-friendly to a full-size setup, so you can match the enclosure to your animal without paying for space you don't need
- Ventilated, UVB and heat lamp compatible lid – a mesh top on the range supports lamp fittings above the enclosure rather than trapping heat and humidity
- Elevated base – larger sizes in the range sit raised off the surface, leaving room for an under-tank heat mat

Which size do I need?
Match the size and setup to your species' needs – a compact 20 x 20 x 10 cm suits small inverts or a single juvenile gecko, while the 50 x 30 x 35 cm gives an adult small-to-medium reptile or a bioactive terrarium build room to move. Check your species' recommended adult enclosure size before choosing.
Will it fit my heat and UV lamps?
The mesh top is designed to support UVB and heat lamp fittings mounted above the enclosure. The manufacturer doesn't publish exact mounting-distance figures for this range – set up your lamp using its own manufacturer's distance and gradient data, and check the gap between the mesh and the enclosure floor against that lamp's minimum safe distance before use.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for: small to medium reptiles, amphibians and inverts, sized to the enclosure you choose.
Not suitable for: species that need more floor space or height than the largest size offers – check your species' adult size requirements first.
Care and maintenance
Clean the glass with a reptile-safe, non-toxic cleaner rather than household glass cleaner, which can leave residue harmful to small animals.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Standard shipping applies; the larger sizes are bulkier items and may incur additional freight.
Common questions
Does it come with a lid?
The range includes a mesh ventilated lid designed to support UVB and heat lamp fittings; lid configuration can vary by size, so check the listing photos for your chosen size.
Can I keep fish or aquatic animals in it?
This is sold and specified as a reptile terrarium. If you want to keep fish, choose a tank designed and sealed for permanent water use.
What size do I need for a juvenile that will grow?
Consider your species' adult size, not just its current size, since rehoming a fast-growing animal into a larger enclosure partway through its life adds cost and stress. Sizing up early is usually the better call.
Is the glass toughened?
Eco Tech's own spec sheet for the range lists toughened viewing glass on the larger sizes; the manufacturer hasn't published a glass grade specific to every size in this range, so check with us if this matters for your setup.
