Exo Terra Heat Glo Infrared Nano Heat Lamp 25w

• 24 hour heat source that does not disrupt the normal activity cycle, and lets you watch nocturnal animals.
• Built-in reflector to direct the heat where it is needed.
• Raises the air temperature in the terrarium; heat is essential for activity and digestion.
• Nano size, made for Exo Terra Nano and Mini terrariums and the Exo Terra Reptile Dome Nano fixture.

• Power: 25 W
• Glass: red, infrared heat with a reddish light
• Exo Terra code: PT2143
• Recommended fixture: Exo Terra Reptile Dome Nano

Suitable for crepuscular (active at dawn and dusk) and nocturnal reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates in nano and mini enclosures. Exo Terra suggests combining it with a Daytime Heat Lamp or Night Heat Lamp for a 24 hour cycle. It is a heat source, not a UVB lamp, and it is sized for small enclosures rather than large ones.

Runs hot. Use a dome fixture with a ceramic socket rated for the wattage, keep the bulb out of the animal's reach, and run it through a thermostat with a separate thermometer to check the basking temperature; small enclosures overheat fast.
