The smallest Monsoon, built to sit on a nano enclosure and run for weeks unattended. The Exo Terra Monsoon Nano is a programmable misting system that connects to any external water reservoir and runs from USB-C power, with a timer that schedules mist bursts down to the second — set-and-forget humidity for compact, heavily planted or rainforest-species setups.

Which Monsoon do I need?
All three current Monsoon systems share the same programmable timer and push-fit nozzle design. The difference is reservoir size, pump pressure and how many enclosures one unit can cover.

The Nano is the one to choose for a single small or nano enclosure, or where there's nowhere to sit a built-in reservoir and an external one — a bottle, a tub, a rain barrel — makes more sense.

An external water reservoir is not included — any clean container will do.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for nano and desktop terrariums, dart frog and mantella vivariums, and anywhere a compact, low-profile mister is needed.
- Not suitable for multi-enclosure setups or large paludariums — the Multi II's higher pressure and built-in 8 L reservoir cover those better.
Care and maintenance
Use distilled or reverse-osmosis water in your reservoir to keep the brass nozzles misting finely for longer — mineral scale from tap water is the most common cause of a weakening or blocked mist. Schedule morning and evening cycles to mimic natural dew patterns, and check the external reservoir regularly since the unit has no built-in low-water shutoff.
