Fluval Algae Magnet and Razor Small
Clean the glass without getting your arm wet. The Fluval Razor+ 2-in-1 Algae Magnet (Small) pairs a magnetic glass cleaner with a 316 stainless steel scraper blade – wipe algae from the inside of the glass while guiding the cleaner from the outside, and flip out the blade for stubborn spot algae. Small is sized and rated for nano and small aquarium glass, up to 6 mm thick.

Will it fit my tank?
Small is rated to 6 mm glass – the thickness typical of nano and small aquariums such as the Fluval Edge and Spec ranges. On glass thicker than 6 mm the magnetic hold weakens; step up to the Medium (rated to 10 mm) for standard-size tanks.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for glass nano and small aquariums up to 6 mm thick, in fresh or marine water. Not suitable for acrylic – the stainless steel blade will scratch it. Not suitable for glass over 6 mm; the magnet won't hold reliably at that thickness.
Care and maintenance
Keep the inner pad clear of substrate – a trapped sand grain will scratch glass. The blade is replaceable (Fluval part #11085) rather than needing to replace the whole cleaner.
Safety
The two halves attract strongly through glass – keep fingers clear when separating them. Razor attachments are for glass aquariums only.

Common questions
Is this strong enough for a standard-size tank?
It's rated to 6 mm glass, which covers most nano and small tanks. For standard-size aquariums with thicker glass, choose the Medium instead.
Will it scratch my acrylic tank?
Yes, the stainless steel blade isn't acrylic-safe – use a dedicated acrylic-safe cleaner instead.
What if the blade dulls?
The blade is replaceable – Fluval part #11085 – no need to replace the whole magnet.
