Fluval Nano Aquarium Filter Carbon Cartridge
A ready-made carbon cartridge for the Fluval Nano Aquarium Filter. This is Fluval's Carbon Cartridge for the Nano Aquarium Filter (Fluval item A458), sold as a pack of two. Fluval designs it to fit inside the Nano filter's filtration chamber, where its highly porous activated carbon adsorbs (holds on its surface) odours, discolouration and impurities.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater aquariums running a Fluval Nano Aquarium Filter. Fluval's manual for the Nano filter says to use it only with fresh water and not in saltwater aquariums. Not made for Fluval's other internal or canister filters.
Care
Replace the cartridge every 2 to 4 weeks. Take the carbon out while you are treating sick fish, because Fluval notes that carbon absorbs a number of medications; seal it in a clean plastic bag and refit it when the treatment is finished.
Warranty and delivery
Fluval does not publish a warranty for this filter media on its product page. Any help we give with a faulty pack is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships by standard parcel post.
