Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for the FX2 only. The FX4 and FX6 take their own motors, sold separately as the Fluval FX4 Motor Unit w Seal Ring and the Fluval FX5/FX6 Motor + Impeller + O-Ring. If the motor runs but flow is weak, the Fluval FX4/FX2 Impeller Assembly is sold separately.
Safety
Unplug the filter and close the AquaStop valves (the shut-off valves on the hose connections) before removing the motor, and run it from an RCD (residual current device, the safety switch that cuts power when it detects a leak to earth) protected outlet.

Covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law, in addition to any Fluval manufacturer warranty that applies to spare parts. Ships by standard parcel post.
