HMS 2-Arm Kit
One arm of Aqua Illumination's modular HMS mounting system, built to hold and adjust a Hydra LED fixture – not a complete mount on its own. The HMS 2-Arm Kit gives you vertical, horizontal and rotational adjustment for up to two Hydra lights, but like the rest of the HMS range it's sold as a component: you'll also need a rail and a bracket for each fixture to finish the mount.

Aqua Illumination doesn't publish weight capacity, arm reach or tank rim thickness figures for this component, so we can't put a number on those here – if your setup is unusual (a very wide rimless tank, or several Hydras on one rail), check with us before ordering.
What's included, and what you'll still need
- Included: the double-arm mount itself – two pivoting arms with cord management.
- Not included – required separately, in most setups: an HMS top rail (sold by length, sized to your tank), and one HMS bracket per Hydra fixture. The Hydra fixtures themselves are also sold separately.
This is the arm component of a three-part system. Buying just the arm kit won't get a light mounted on its own – talk to us if you're putting a full HMS setup together for the first time and want help picking the right rail length.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for mounting one or two Hydra TwentySix, FiftyTwo or HD fixtures once paired with the matching rail and brackets.
- Not suitable for Blade or Prime fixtures, which use Aqua Illumination's separate mounting ranges.
- Not a complete, ready-to-fit mount by itself – see above.

Covered by Aqua Illumination's standard accessory warranty in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel – standard freight.
Common questions
Can I mount two Hydras with just this kit?
You'll need this arm kit plus an HMS rail and one bracket per Hydra – the arm kit alone doesn't include the rail or brackets.
Does this fit my Blade light?
No. This is built for the Hydra TwentySix, FiftyTwo and HD. Blade fixtures use a different mounting range – see our Blade mounting accessories instead.
What length rail do I need?
Rail is sold separately by length, chosen to suit your tank width. Get in touch with your tank dimensions and we can help you pick the right one.
Does it work with AI Prime?
Aqua Illumination doesn't list Prime compatibility for this specific arm kit – Prime fixtures use their own hanging kit and bracket. Ask us if you're unsure before ordering.
