ReefControl ATO Module
Fail-safe auto top-off, built into your controller. The Red Sea ReefControl ATO Module adds a complete automatic top-off system to a ReefControl Lite or Pro controller, without a separate standalone ATO unit to plumb and program. It suits anyone already running ReefControl who wants top-off, temperature logging and overfill protection managed from the same app and hardware as their other probes.

This module does not run stand-alone: it needs an existing ReefControl Lite or Pro base unit to plug into. If you don't already own a ReefControl controller, the standalone ReefATO+ 3-in-1 system is the equivalent product that doesn't require one.
Performance
The pump is rated 300 L/h at zero head, falling off toward its 2.5 m maximum lift — expect meaningfully less delivered flow the higher the top-off point sits above the reservoir. Red Sea has not published a full head-loss curve for this pump, so treat the 300 L/h figure as a best-case, zero-head number rather than what reaches your sump in practice.
Safety
The fail-safe logic disables the pump if the sensor disconnects or the pump runs longer than expected, guarding against a stuck-on pump overflowing the sump. It doesn't replace checking the reservoir level and the ATO's operation periodically yourself.

Common questions
Do I need a ReefControl controller already?
Yes. This module adds ATO functionality to an existing ReefControl Lite or Pro — it has no display or app of its own.
What happens if the sensor loses connection mid-top-up?
The pump shuts down automatically as part of the fail-safe logic, rather than continuing to run unmonitored.
Can I use this instead of the standalone ReefATO+?
Only if you already have a ReefControl controller — the ATO Module has no independent controller of its own, unlike the 3-in-1 ReefATO+, which runs on its own hardware.
What glass thickness does the mounting bracket suit?
Roughly 12mm, matching the bracket used across Red Sea's ReefATO+ sensor range.
