Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable as a night-time or around-the-clock heat source for reptiles, amphibians, birds and small animals. It does not provide UVB, so species that need UVB still need a separate UVB lamp during the day. Choose the wattage to suit the size of the enclosure and the room temperature, and check it with a thermometer.
Safety
Run it in a fixture with a ceramic socket rated for the wattage, and control it with a thermostat or rheostat. The glass gets very hot in use, so let it cool before handling and keep it out of your animal's reach.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Zoo Med's 3 month warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships by standard parcel post.
