Suitable for, and not suitable for
Zoo Med lists it for small geckos, hatchling reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates such as tarantulas. Zoo Med states it is for heat and night-time viewing only, so species that need UVB still need a separate UVB lamp during the day.
Safety
Use it in a fixture with a ceramic socket, and do not exceed the fixture's wattage rating. Small enclosures heat up quickly, so run it on a thermostat and check the temperature with a thermometer. The glass gets hot in use, so let it cool before handling.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Zoo Med's 3 month warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships by standard parcel post.
