Will it fit my enclosure?

Safety
This is a 240 V AC / 50 Hz mains-powered fixture fitted with a standard Australian plug. Run it from a circuit with RCD (safety switch) protection, as is standard practice around any tropical or humid enclosure. Keep the fixture, cord and inline switch out of the direct splash zone of misting systems and water features, and don't handle the switch or cord with wet hands.
Care and maintenance
Wipe dust off the reflector surface periodically — a dusty reflector sends back less of the light and UVB it's designed to recycle. Replace the UVB tube on Zoo Med's standard 12-month schedule even though the hood itself has a much longer service life; UVB output fades well before the tube stops producing visible light. A tube that's flickering or slow to start is usually the tube, not the ballast.
