Bioscape Airline Roll 100 Metres (PER METRE!)

Buy exactly the airline you need, cut to the metre. This is the same flexible Bioscape PVC airline sold as the 100 m bulk roll, packaged instead as a per-metre purchase — the practical option when you're topping up one tank rather than stocking a fish room.

Key features
  • Sold per metre — buy one length or several, with nothing left over.
  • Flexible PVC — routes around stands and cabinets without kinking sharply.
  • Standard fit — works with Bioscape check valves, control valves, airstones and most other Australian-brand airline fittings.
  • No bulk roll to store — useful if you only need a metre or two and don't want 100 m taking up a shelf.

Material PVC
Fitting Standard aquarium airline

Bioscape does not publish the internal bore diameter for this tubing. It is sized to the standard Australian aquarium airline fitting used across Bioscape's own check valves and control valves — if you're matching it to fittings from another brand, check compatibility against a sample first.

Which airline option do I need?
Option Best for
Per metre (this product) A single tank, a short run, or trying a length before committing to a bulk roll
100 m roll Fish rooms, shops, multi-tank setups, or anyone who'll use well over 10 m over time
Suitable for, and not suitable for
  • Suitable for: connecting an air pump to an airstone, sponge filter or ornament on a single tank or a short run.
  • Not suitable for: pressurised CO2 lines — this is standard low-pressure air pump tubing, not CO2-rated hose.
Care and maintenance
  • Replace tubing that has gone stiff, cloudy or yellowed — aged airline cracks at the fittings and leaks air.
  • Keep spare lengths away from direct sun; UV exposure is what ages PVC airline fastest.
  • Rinse tubing that's picked up algae before reusing it on a different tank, to avoid cross-contaminating water.

Common questions

How many metres do I need?

Measure the run from pump to airstone plus enough slack to route around the stand or cabinet without pulling tight — most single-tank runs use well under 2 m.

Is this the same tubing as the 100 m roll?

Yes — same Bioscape PVC airline, just sold cut to the length you choose instead of as a bulk roll.

Will it fit my existing check valves and control valves?

It's sized to standard Australian aquarium airline fittings, including Bioscape's own check and control valves. If you're matching to another brand's fitting, check against a sample first.

Can I use it for CO2?

No — this is standard low-pressure air pump tubing, not rated for pressurised CO2 systems.

Is it worth buying the 100 m roll instead?

If you're only running one or two tanks, buying per metre avoids storing a bulk roll you won't use up. Running a fish room or several tanks is where the roll starts to make more sense.
