Bioscape Floating Pond Filter Unit 3000lph

A floating fountain with a pre-filter built in, not a stand-alone filtration system. The Bioscape Floating Pond Filter Unit is a 24V, 28W floating pond fountain rated at 3000 L/h, with dual sponge pre-filters that catch coarse debris before it reaches the pump. It ships with three interchangeable nozzles and a 10m power cable, and a flow control valve to fine-tune the spray.

Key features
  • 3000 L/h pump – floats at the surface, so there's no head height to lift against; this figure is the unit's real operating flow, not a bucket-test number that never occurs in use.
  • Three nozzle styles – Bell, Volcano and Daisy spray patterns, swapped depending on the display you want.
  • Dual sponge pre-filters – trap leaves and coarse debris ahead of the pump to protect it from clogging.
  • Adjustable spray height – up to 2.0m at full flow, controlled by the built-in T-piece flow valve.
  • 10m power cable to a 24V DC transformer, so the transformer can sit well clear of the pond edge.
  • Mooring rope and ground pegs included to anchor the unit against wind and current in larger or exposed ponds.

Warranty 2 years against manufacturing defects (excludes consumables and misuse), in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law
What's included / Not included
  • Included: pump unit, Bell/Volcano/Daisy nozzles, dual sponge pre-filters, T-piece flow control valve, mooring rope, ground pegs, 24V DC transformer and 10m cable.
  • Not included: dedicated biological or mechanical pond filtration. The built-in sponges are a pre-filter that protects the pump from debris – they're not a substitute for a proper filter system on a stocked pond. If you're keeping fish, pair this with dedicated pond filtration rather than relying on this unit alone.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
  • Suitable for: adding a fountain display and light surface movement to a garden pond, with basic debris pre-filtering to protect the pump itself.
  • Not suitable for: use as the sole filtration on a fish-stocked pond, or operation out of water – the manufacturer is explicit that it must never be run dry.
Safety

Never operate the pump out of water, and don't run it in freezing conditions. Install the transformer in a dry, sheltered location protected from rain, and always make sure your hands are dry before connecting or disconnecting the electrical plug.

Warranty and delivery

Two years against manufacturing defects, excluding consumables and misuse, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel item.

Common questions

Will this keep my pond water clear on its own?

Not by itself. Its sponges pre-filter debris to protect the pump, but a stocked pond still needs dedicated biological and mechanical filtration alongside it.

How do I change the spray pattern?

Swap between the Bell, Volcano and Daisy nozzles supplied, and use the T-piece flow control valve to adjust spray height up to the 2.0m maximum.

Can I leave it running through winter?

No – the manufacturer advises against operating it in freezing conditions.

How do I stop it drifting around the pond?

Use the included mooring rope and ground pegs, particularly in larger ponds or spots exposed to wind.
