Suitable for fountains, water features and waterfalls in outdoor ponds, and for indoor aquariums, in fresh or salt water. Bioscape does not publish a maximum head (the height a pump can lift water before flow stops) for this pump, and flow drops as the lift increases, so allow extra for a tall fountain or a long waterfall run.

Unplug the pump before cleaning. Rinse the foam insert whenever flow drops, and check the impeller for grit or wear if flow is still weak with a clean foam.

Plug it into an RCD (safety switch) protected outdoor rated outlet, keep the plug out of the weather, and never run the pump dry.
