Bioscape Under Gravel Filter 36 x 12in 90cm

• Modular plates that join together to cover the 90 cm base as one filter bed.
• Runs on air or a powerhead, so you can start with an air pump and change later.
• Dual airlift: an airlift is the upright tube where rising air bubbles carry filtered water back up into the tank.
• Plates sit out of sight under the gravel, with even flow through the bed to cut down dead spots.

• Fits: 36 x 12 inch (90 cm) aquarium
• Plate area: about 86 x 30 cm
• Included: filter plates, lift tubes and airstones
• Material: aquarium-safe plastic
• Drive: air pump or powerhead, sold separately
• Bioscape code: BIS592

Suitable for 90 cm freshwater aquariums with 3 to 5 cm of gravel over the plates, including tropical fish, shrimp, goldfish and bettas. Made to sit under gravel, so it is not intended for a sand bed. The same range covers 60, 75 and 120 cm tanks.

Wash the parts and the gravel before you set it up. Vacuum the gravel at water changes so waste does not build up under the plates, and keep an eye on your water tests.
