Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater aquariums, in any filter with room for loose media or a media bag. API lists it for freshwater, so it is not suitable for marine or reef aquariums. It helps control ammonia but does not replace regular water changes or a properly cycled filter (one with enough beneficial bacteria to break down waste), so keep testing your water.
Care
Because it contains activated carbon, which API states removes medications, take Ammo-Carb out of the filter before you dose a treatment and put fresh media back in once the course is finished.
Warranty and delivery
API does not publish a warranty for this consumable. Any help we give with a faulty pack is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships by standard parcel post.
