Exo Terra Monsoon Brass Replacement Nozzle Kit

Genuine Exo Terra brass nozzles for a finer, fog-like mist. This is the official Exo Terra brass nozzle kit for the Monsoon programmable misting range, sold as a two-nozzle set for replacing worn or clogged nozzles, or upgrading a system that shipped with standard plastic ones. Brass nozzles atomise water more finely than plastic, producing the dense fog effect that plant-heavy and rainforest-species enclosures benefit from most.

Key features
  • Genuine Exo Terra part — manufactured to fit the Monsoon misting system range, not a generic substitute.
  • Brass construction — produces an extremely fine, fog-like mist rather than a coarse spray.
  • Fully directional — each nozzle bends and holds its position, so mist can be aimed exactly where it's needed.
  • Two nozzles per kit — enough to replace a worn pair or add a second misting point.
  • Quick push-fit connection — no tools needed to swap onto existing Monsoon tubing.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
  • Suitable for replacing worn or clogged nozzles on any Exo Terra Monsoon misting system, or adding an extra misting point where the system supports more nozzles.
  • Not suitable for systems already running at their maximum nozzle count — check your system's limit before adding rather than replacing, since Exo Terra notes that every additional nozzle reduces the mist pressure delivered at each one.
Care and maintenance

Hard tap water leaves mineral scale inside brass nozzles over time, which is the most common cause of a weak or blocked mist. Exo Terra recommends distilled or reverse-osmosis water in the reservoir to keep nozzles clear for longer. A nozzle that mists unevenly or not at all is often faster to replace than to descale.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by the Exo Terra manufacturer warranty against defects, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Standard parcel delivery.

Common questions

Will these fit my Monsoon system?

Yes — this brass nozzle kit is made for the Exo Terra Monsoon misting range and connects using the same tubing and Y-connectors as the nozzles your system shipped with.

Do brass nozzles mist differently to the standard plastic ones?

Yes. Brass nozzles atomise water more finely, producing a denser, fog-like mist rather than a coarse spray — useful for humidity-sensitive species and heavily planted enclosures.

Can I add these as extra nozzles instead of replacing existing ones?

You can, up to your system's maximum nozzle count, but each additional nozzle reduces the mist pressure at every nozzle on the system.

Why is my mist weak even with new nozzles?

Mineral scale from hard water is the most common cause. Switching to distilled or reverse-osmosis water usually resolves it.
