Suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 1500 litres running a canister filter. It connects to the filter's output hose only, never the intake hose.

Fluval's instructions say to keep the unit and hoses above the level of the filter lid, with the hoses running in a straight path, no loops and very little slack. After fitting, check every joint is watertight before plugging in.

Unplug the filter and the clarifier before fitting or servicing. UV-C light can harm eyes and skin, so only run the lamp when it is sealed inside the unit. Plug the power supply into an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet, clear of splashes.
