Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for large freshwater ponds, tall waterfalls and streams, and for feeding pressurised or gravity-fed pond filters. Flow falls as the pump lifts water higher, so expect well under 16,500 litres per hour once waterfall height, hose and filter are added. Made for freshwater ponds, not saltwater.
Safety
Mains powered and submersible: run it from an RCD (safety switch) protected outdoor outlet, and disconnect power before lifting it out for cleaning.
