Red Sea Reefer G2+350 Complete System Black

The tank, sump and cabinet – you choose the rest. The Red Sea Reefer G2+350 Complete System is a 342 L reef platform in black: a drilled glass aquarium, REEF-SPEC sump and marine cabinet built to Red Sea's own plumbing standard, ready for whichever return pump, skimmer, lighting and ATO you decide to run. Nothing about the equipment is fixed for you – this listing gets the structure right and leaves the gear list to your budget and your reef.

Key features
  • Long, shallow display for a wide viewing panel – 120 cm across at 50 cm deep, giving an aquascape more room to spread than the shorter 300.
  • Drilled central overflow with removable weir comb – quiet downflow into the sump, no external overflow box on the back panel.
  • REEF-SPEC sump with dedicated chambers – mechanical filtration compartment, adjustable-height skimmer chamber, bubble trap and RO reservoir space.
  • Rimless, bevelled ultra-clear glass – 12 mm front and side panels with no frame breaking the view.
  • Marine-spec plywood cabinet in matte black – moisture-resistant, on adjustable levelling feet, with quick-release door hinges for sump access.
  • Metric and USA bulkhead fittings included – Red Sea's own pumps or aftermarket equipment plumb straight in.
What's included / Not included

Included: the drilled display aquarium, the built-in overflow with weir comb, the REEF-SPEC sump (mechanical filtration compartment, skimmer chamber, bubble trap and RO reservoir space), the black cabinet, plumbing with metric and USA bulkhead connectors, and starter micron filter socks.

Not included: return pump, protein skimmer, lighting and auto top-off (ATO) system, and a heater. Red Sea sells all of these separately so the equipment list matches your reef rather than a fixed factory set – see Goes well with, below. For the pump, skimmer, lighting and ATO already fitted from the factory, look for a Reefer MAX instead; this listing is the standard Reefer G2+.

Which Reefer G2+ do I need?

All three sizes share the same REEF-SPEC sump layout and the same bring-your-own-equipment approach – the difference is footprint and water volume. The 350 is the mid-size option and the widest relative to its depth, which suits a display meant to be viewed mostly from the front. The 300 is the compact option for tighter floor space. The 425 steps up in every dimension, with the deepest sump for reactor and dosing gear.

Model Display volume Sump volume Total volume Display footprint Glass
Reefer G2+300 246 L 54 L 300 L 90 × 57.5 cm 12 mm
Reefer G2+350 273 L 69 L 342 L 120 × 50 cm 12 mm
Reefer G2+425 343 L 90 L 433 L 120 × 60 cm 12 mm front/bottom, 15 mm sides
Will it fit my space?

The display footprint is 120 × 50 cm, with a total system height of 140 cm including the cabinet – check the full 120 cm run against your wall before ordering, since it's a longer footprint than the 300 despite a similar total volume. At 342 L total system volume, the water alone weighs around 342 kg; glass, sump, cabinet, substrate and rock add further weight on top. Red Sea doesn't publish a total filled weight for this model, so on an upper floor or a suspended floor, get the point load checked by a builder or structural engineer rather than assuming it will be fine.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for a reefer who wants a wide, front-facing display and is happy to choose their own return pump, skimmer and lighting rather than take a fixed set. The black cabinet suits a room where the tank is meant to recede into the furniture rather than stand out. Not suitable if you want to plug in and go – budget for a return pump, skimmer, light and ATO alongside this listing, not after it.

Goes well with

A DC return pump sized to the sump's plumbing – the Red Sea ReefRun G2 6000 DC Pump suits typical flow at this volume. A protein skimmer sized to the sump – the Red Sea Reefer Skimmer 300 PSK600 is a common starting point at this bioload; step up if you plan to stock heavily. Lighting such as the Red Sea ReefLED 90, mounted to span the 120 cm run. And the Red Sea ReefATO System to automate top-offs.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects – 3 years as standard, extendable to 5 years at no extra cost by registering the system with Red Sea after purchase, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. This is a large, heavy item: expect palletised freight with a delivery dock or ground-floor drop-off, and confirm access for a two-person lift before delivery day.

Common questions

Does the Reefer G2+350 come with a return pump, skimmer or light?

No. This listing is the aquarium, overflow, sump, cabinet and plumbing only. Return pump, protein skimmer, lighting and ATO are sold separately.

Is the black cabinet the same construction as the white one?

Yes – same marine-spec plywood, same adjustable feet and quick-release hinges. Only the finish differs, so choose black or white on looks and room fit rather than build quality.

How much wall length do I need for the 350?

Allow at least the full 120 cm display length plus clearance either side for airflow and for opening the cabinet doors and sump lid.

What size return pump and skimmer should I buy?

Size both to the sump's flow rating and your intended stocking level, not just the tank's total volume – see Goes well with, above, for a starting point.

Can I fit a bigger skimmer than the recommended one later?

Generally yes, within the skimmer chamber's footprint and height clearance – check the chamber dimensions against the skimmer's body diameter and cup height before buying.
