Aqua Ultraviolet Quartz Cap with Ring Clear Blue (A40011)
The clear blue cap that closes off the end of the quartz sleeve on Classic and Twist units. This is Aqua Ultraviolet part A40011, which the maker lists as the quartz cap with ring, clear blue. It appears as the quartz cap in the parts list for the Classic and Twist series UV sterilisers, where it twists on to hold the quartz sleeve (the clear tube around the lamp) and its rubber seal in place.

Suitable as a replacement quartz cap on Aqua Ultraviolet Classic and Twist series units. Not for Aqua Ultraviolet's SL, Viper, stainless steel or ozone units, which the maker lists with their own caps.
Care
Aqua Ultraviolet's manual says to turn off the pump, unplug the unit and drain the housing before changing the rubber seal, and to twist the quartz cap back on by hand only. Do not use lubricants on any connection.
Safety
Do not run the unit if the cap or seal is damaged or leaking. Keep the steriliser on an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet.
