Seachem Flourish Epoxy 114g
Lock your hardscape together before it locks you into a disaster. Seachem Flourish Epoxy is a two-part epoxy putty for securing rock stacks and driftwood in planted and reef aquariums — the insurance policy for iwagumi layouts, tall rock stacks and any scape where a collapse could crush plants, corals or livestock, or crack the glass. It's completely safe for aquarium inhabitants once cured.
Key features
- Five-minute working time — enough time to knead, shape and position before it starts to set.
- Hardens in about 15 minutes, fully cured within 24 hours — submerged or in open air.
- Mechanical grip on rough surfaces — presses into pores and grooves in stone and driftwood rather than just surface-bonding.
- Two colours — Grey and Brown perform identically; pick whichever blends with your hardscape.
- Resealable storage — the 114 g stick comes in a plastic tube so unused putty stays usable.

How to use
- Wear latex gloves if you have sensitive skin.
- Cut off the amount you need and reseal the rest in the storage tube.
- Remove the film and knead until the colour is uniform throughout.
- Press firmly around the base or contact point so the putty penetrates pores and grooves in the stone or wood.
- Position your pieces within the 5-minute working window — it starts hardening from that point.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for bonding rock to rock, rock to driftwood, and driftwood to driftwood, in freshwater or saltwater, submerged or dry.
- Suitable for reef rockwork as well as planted-tank hardscape once fully cured.
- Not a substitute for proper structural support on tall or heavy rock stacks — use it to stop pieces shifting, not as the sole support for an unstable structure.
- Not intended as a general adhesive for glass or acrylic seams.
Goes well with
- Seachem Flourish Glue — for attaching moss and epiphytes to the rockwork once it's positioned.

Common questions
Can I use Flourish Epoxy underwater?
Yes. It's designed to be applied and to cure both submerged and in open air, with a full cure of 24 hours either way.
Is it safe for fish, shrimp and coral once cured?
Seachem states it's completely safe for aquarium inhabitants. During application, avoid skin and eye contact — it causes irritation while uncured — and keep it away from heat and open flame.
Does the colour affect performance?
No. Grey and Brown are functionally identical; the choice is purely about which blends better with your rockwork.
How long do I have to position my rocks before it sets?
About 5 minutes of working time before it starts to harden, and roughly 15 minutes before it's fully hardened and no longer malleable.
